Community And Charity At CastleCourt

CastleCourt, Belfast’s favourite shopping centre, has now closed it's application process for 2018/19.

Now in its fifth year, CastleCourt’s Charity Charter has enabled organisations as diverse
as Autism NI, Special Olympics, British Heart Foundation and Aware NI to benefit from the
opportunities available by partnering with the city centre retail hub.

CastleCourt is committed to supporting and helping its community, both locally and
regionally and will focus its fundraising efforts by adopting a charity, or selection of
charities, for the next twelve months.

Centre Director, Paul McMahon said:

“CastleCourt has a long, established history of supporting local charities and we have
been overwhelmed by the generosity of our shoppers and staff since the introduction of
this charity initiative. The Charity Charter is one of our many long-term commitments to
supporting the hard work of local organisations and will work closely with our new
charity partner over the next twelve months to enable them to raise funds and gain
support through bespoke events held in the centre.

“Fundraising is more than a collection bucket so we are looking for a charity partner
that can bring something new and engaging whilst supporting our own CSR strategy.
We want to engage with as many people outside of those who usually shop at
CastleCourt and this will be down to the fun and quirky ideas that attract families and
the public to the centre.”
